Mr. Robert Solyom has over 20 years experience in the field of music performance and education. During this time he has taught clarinet, saxophone, flute, music theory, music history and chamber music to students of all ages. Many of Mr. Solyom’s talented students have become professional musicians. Being a musician endorsing the Kodály method, he has always looked to provide students with knowledge of music, both at theoretical and practical levels. Mr. Solyom teaches his students in an interactive way to attain a love and appreciation of music, and about the psychology of successful performances at music competitions. Robert also has a career as a successful professional musician having toured throughout Europe with professional orchestras. He has also featured on many professional recordings and DVDs. Robert Solyom is a member of Laois School of Music, Maoin Cheoil na Gallimhe, Coole Music and Mayo School of Music, Cistercian College, Roscrea and in Maoin Cheoil an Chláir.
